On my last trip to Los Angeles I decided to walk Hollywood Boulevard, stepping around each plaque in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Frolic Room commanded my attention even though I'd never heard of it. But I had heard of Frederick's of Hollywood. Was it really Every Girl's Dream before Victoria's Secret? Must have been because it was next to Hollywood Magic. Grauman's Chinese Theatre was a must. And around the corner, in a place most tourists missed, there they were: Bacall, Bogart, Monroe, Chaplin, Little Shirley Temple--sitting on W.C. Fields's lap, Dean, Taylor, and Burton all in front row center. "Perfect," I twittered.
